I apologize for my long silence.  Between school to random meetings with the iluvcebu.com team, bloggers, photographers, to catching up with old friends, meeting new ones and spending quality time with my family, plus the amount of time and work that I need whenever I post a blog entry (I'm so OC!), I’ve had no time to update my personal blog.

But, like it or not, I’m back in the saddle. Sorta! ;)

Looking back

"English" and "Reading" were two of my favorite subjects. I went to school at St. Theresa's College where values are like gold and writing is like food. We were all required to say something through printed words (yes, even Math). We had reading logs, learning logs, book reports, and the like, every day. Yes, everyday. You can ask any Theresian and she'll probably say the same thing. STC is probably the sole reason for my love for words. To my English and Reading mentors, thank you.

On Blogging

I joined the blogging world 4 years ago. I had raves and rants on my Multiply page. I used to talk about the most random things: camera, Prison Break, photography, music. My personal blog became personal only 3 years ago when I talked about an issue that I was going through. Too much emotion + my love for words = blog.


Acquaintances to friends

I love joining events in the metro not just for photography's sake, but also because of the unlimited opportunities to meet different kinds of people. I love learning new things about and from people. 

Cebu Blog Camp 2010

I’m joining Cebu Blog Camp on May 22, 2010 at the CAP Art Center. I will be there with friends, people who love writing just as much as I do. The event will be a great opportunity for me to get to know other bloggers not just from Cebu, but also from other islands of the Philippines.

Let Your Voice Be Heard: The Philippine Blog Awards 2009 Bloggers’ Choice Special Award (Visayas)

Last October 1, 2009, a final list of the official entries for the 2009 Bloggers’ Choice Special Award  was released. If I haven't checked out Bryan Karl Yuson's entry, I wouldn't have known that my little space in the web is a part of that long line of nominees *insert giddiness here. I wouldn't lie and not say that I didn't sign up and grabbed that nifty "2009 Philippine Blog Awards Nominee" badge. Buhatin ang sariling bangko (which was what the others did, too, I guess. Haha!) Seriously though, I wasn't expecting anything when I registered. What's there to lose? But lo and behold

What's Your Page Rank?

I blog-hopped again today just to divert myself from the anxiety for our first Block Exam on Tuesday.

We'll have a test covering Modules 1 to 4
(not to mention the last module exam that we will have tomorrow).

Arggh.

So anyway, as I was blog hopping, I noticed that some of the sites that I visited have their page ranks on their sidebar.

I actually checked my page rank a few weeks ago.

It was 0, so I didn't bother pasting the code in my homepage.

Firsts of Everything

First post (although I'm sure I have another account in this blog-hosting site YEARS ago. haha)
First sure sign of something (witnessed it last night and now I'm dead sure. No questions, clarifications, whatsoever.)
First bar trip (I call myself a goody-goody for a reason. haha)
First feeling of that PEAK emotion (Yeah. This has to end. Shoulda Woulda Coulda.)

It's a brand new start, after all.
